Whitmore Vale Housing Association is committed to staff development and ensuring that staff feel valued and supported. All new staff undergo an induction based on the Care Certificateu00a0

The Organisation has a dedicated ongoing training programme for all levels of staff that considers the core areas of necessary knowledge, the development needs of staff and the wide rangingu00a0
support needs of the residents.

Diploma Qualifications

Whitmore Vale Housing Association also provides opportunities for Health and Social Care Diploma qualifications, levels 2 and 3 and the Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care is available for Managers, either in house or through local colleges.

We have a contributory pension scheme which staff can join after completing the six month probationary period. Staff can contribute 5% or more and the Association pays 5% of the staff member’s salary into the pension. Alternatively staff can auto-enrol into a scheme with NEST that presently involves a 1% contribution from the staff member and the Association.
